NUMBER ONE THING WE MISS ABOUT CFNI
The number one missed aspect of CFNI among alumni is chapel. It never ceases to amaze me how much we gained from the unique time we spent here with each other and the Lord. It was priceless time spent in God's presence.
So many of us stepped into the auditorium each morning, searching for God, and found, like those before us, a treasure of worship. Chapel time was a connection to Heaven which slowly transformed us into worshipers.
What did we find in that atmosphere? Some of us found a deeper measure of the Spirit of God, immersed in something greater than we had ever known. Others went through a process of rending the flesh, leaving the past behind. Still others heard the voice of the Lord whispering to their heart about what lay ahead of them; glimpses of the future that awaited them. I must admit there were more times than I could count when I hoped that a certain chapel service would not end, but just continue on and on. God met us there! Christ For The Nations implanted "worship DNA” in us.
