Information for Parents

The mission of the Christ For The Nations Security Department can be expressed very simply-to protect the people and property of CFNI. The dedicated men and women of the Security Department consider it their God-given calling to watch over and protect the students, staff and residents of our campus. Fifteen officers patrol the campus twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Each officer is required to be licensed by the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Security has a deep commitment to campus safety. CFNI has a new campus-wide Emergency Plan, provided on CAMS; an all-campus Emergency Text Message system; an Emergency Color Code for weather or other crises; new vehicles with space for escorting students across campus; and regular Crime Watch meetings with local law enforcement to improve community relations.

The Security Office is located at the base of the Gordon Lindsay Tower on the North side of Kiest Boulevard. The phone numbers for Security are 214-302-6202 for the office, which is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 214-302-6200 for the 24-hour Security Cell phone that is carried by the officers.

If you have any questions or suggestions for CFNI Security, please feel free to contact us at the above phone numbers or at If you have a life-threatening emergency on campus, please call 911 and then the 24-hour Security phone. If you need medical help, an escort across campus or just someone to stand by when you return home late at night, please don’t hesitate to call. We are here to serve you.
