The Leadership Certificate is a one-year program available to international students only and is awarded upon completion of 34 credit hours. Full-time students will accumulate these credits by attending one fall term, one spring term and one summer term.
Students in this program will focus on laying a foundation of godly character and on their personal relationship with God. This year is comprised of courses such as Old and New Testament Survey, Prayer and Intercession, Evangelism, the Holy Spirit and other essential areas.
One summer term is required of all students. This requirement may be fulfilled in several ways. Summer courses are offered for students to further their biblical studies. Students may fulfill their requirement by attending these classes. Youth For The Nations youth camps are held at CFNI. Each summer thousands of teenagers attend our one-week camps. Students may earn credit by serving as an intern with the YFN team. CFNI also sends teams of students all over the world for three week mission trips. Summer credit may be earned by serving on one of these outreach teams.
Upon completion of these requirements, students will earn a Leadership Certificate. Students may, if their visas permit, continue their studies after this year and go on to the Diploma in Practical Theology program.
