Lectures in Practical Theology

One of the dynamic programs
offered at CFNI is guest speakers come from around the globe to teach on contemporary theological
issues within the Church. Each speaker teaches a one-week-module, lecturing daily on specific areas
of contemporary theology.
Student Ministry
STM
Student Ministry exists to provide hands-on, practical application to what is being learned in the classroom. When students graduate from CFNI, they will not only be equipped with a world class education, but they will also be trained in a practical ministry context through the supervision of seasoned instructors.
Old Testament Survey
BIB-102
An overview study of the Old Testament in its works and Words.
The course is broken into three parts: (1) Old Testament Historiography
(2) Outline and theological content of each book, beginning with Genesis
(3) Consider the Chris to logical interpretations of some of the more
famous Old Testament periscopes.
New Testament Survey
BIB-103
An overview study of the New Testament. Special attention is given
to the synoptic Gospels, John and the Pauline Corpus, both the
doctrinal and pastoral epistles, collectively and individually. Also,
the general epistles will be examined for context and content.
Life and Teachings of Christ
BIB-105
This course helps us to understand more clearly how Jesus came to live in a natural
state of spirit, soul, and body, and how He lived a life of victory as an
example of encouragement to us.
Personal Discipleship
MIN-101
This course provides a careful scrutiny of the principles involved in becoming a more
disciplined Christian. This includes the areas, but not limited to, personal
prayer and study, morality, heart attitude, sanctification, and personal growth.
Real Christianity
MIN-103
This course will enable the student to discover the value of
relationships with oneself, God, and others, in order to relationally
impact others with the message of Jesus Christ.
Evangelism
MIN-105
This course is designed to lay a foundation of evangelism that will remain in your spiritual D.N.A. forever. We
review the mandate given through Scripture—calling all believers to win souls. This course covers power evangelism,
prophetic evangelism, servant evangelism, developing your personal testimony, and more. You will receive training to effectively move in the Power of God in whatever He has called you to do.
Creation Science
MIN-107
This is a study of the evolutionary theory versus Creation science from a
biblical standpoint. Provocative ideas regarding the Flood and other
catastrophic biblical events will be discussed, including those that
are to occur at the end of the age.
Prayer and Intercession
MIN-109
This is an in-depth study of the prayer of intercession, along with its importance
in God's plan of redemption for mankind, its benefits for the world,
the Body of Christ and the individual, and a many-faceted look at its
variety of applications.
Basic Christian Doctrine

This class will endeavor to thoroughly acquaint the student
with the seven fundamental doctrines that form the foundations
for growth and maturity in the Christian life.
Holy Spirit

Attention will be focused on the function of the Holy Spirit in the
areas of communication, administration, and motivation. The student
will be taught about the sovereignty of the Holy Spirit and His
function as our Pathfinder.
Principles of Healing and Miracles I
THE-207
This course will present both practical teaching and the application of God's
methods for healing and miracles. It will emphasize the power and authority of
Scripture. The class covers the foundation of healing at Christ For The Nations;
healing in the atonement; faith and healing; the redemptive names of God; spirit,
soul and body; the cleansing power of the Blood; faith and medicine; hindrances
to healing, as well as other topics related to the principles of healing and
miracles.
Relevant Youth Ministry
YOU-203
This generation has an increasing need for godly men and women
who will be effective role models for teenagers trapped in mediocrity
and sin. This course will highlight different methods used to reach teenagers,
inform students of the issues happening currently in the youth culture, and
show students how the Lord is moving with the youth in the Body of Christ.
Youth Ministry Management Tools

This class will focus on the development of the student for future employment. They will also be trained in organization, time management, and business tools.

attitudes are essential to thriving youth ministries by interacting with attitudes and character
qualities, dissecting them, examining them, and then assembling the ultimate attitude.
Situational Ethics

This lab will continue a student's education in learning how to help teenagers deal with the issues socially, politically, and spiritually. They will also be trained in organization, time management, and business tools.
Generational Discipleship

The young people of today need a mentor in their life to call out their greatness, confront them—while making them feel honored, help establish identity in them, and give them tools to be successful to do the same in the generation they will be leading. You will be given wisdom and tools to raise up strong disciples that will last for generations.
Experiential Youth Ministry

This class is designed to outline the functional and technical aspects of team-led youth ministry, showing practical methods needed for every youth minister.
Ministry Prep

The average youth pastor does not make it past his/her first 18 months in youth ministry. This is mostly due to their lack of training and oversight. In this class, you will be given practical teaching, clear oversight, and hands-on practical application. By the end of this course, you will have the skills necessary for effective youth ministry, as well as irreplaceable experience to begin your journey as a pastor and mentor of the younger generation.
Developing Youth Culture

Young people have all been raised on the same planet, but in a different
culture. As Leaders, we need to understand that each city, neighborhood, and church has it's own unique culture.
This class will help you to understand these cultures, so you can better serve them. You will also learn to develop
your own regions culture and personal DNA, which will help you stay focused, driven for the long run, and able to
make a lasting impact in peoples lives.
Practical Youth Ministry

Students will learn practical skills needed to produce an effective & proper youth ministry. Practical skills will
focus on the following six areas: Generational Evangelism, Communicating To Youth, Creative Design, Small Group
Training, Raising More Than Money, and Leading Young People in Worship.
