RA Leadership (Families)

Resident Assistants serve as an extension of the dean's department to promote the spiritual, social, and physical development of the student body. The RA's primary responsibilities are to provide practical assistance and personal support to their peers and to help the deans department to maintain student rules and policies on campus. (Prior approval must be obtained from the appropriate dean prior to registration.)

Student Council

The Student Council provides leadership opportunities for students of Christ For The Nations Institute who have a heart to serve their fellow students, staff, and faculty. The Student Council is responsible for providing assistance to the weekly guest speakers who speak in our united sessions. In addition, the Student Council also coordinates the bi-annual graduation banquet along with many other student events throughout the year. (Students must apply through the Student Council president and be approved by the Student Affairs committee prior to registration.)
Service Host

This ministry receives the offerings, seats guests, provides distribution of handouts, and the communion elements. In the event of altar calls, the ushers direct people to the right areas for ministry.
International Connection

This ministry provides practical, cross-cultural experience. Participants assist newly arriving international students in adjusting to their new home on campus. Students prepare internationals' apartments with basic food items and dishes, help to provide transportation for them to various stores, and arrange fellowship opportunities.
Spanish Multi-Media

This ministry is comprised primarily of students who are fully trained in audio, video, media, sound, lighting, and production techniques. Students are required to help provide audio, video, media, sound, or lighting reinforcement for events, including classes, lectures, nights of worship, and conferences.
Spanish Audio

Spanish Audio trains the student to minister to Spanish speaking students through the technology of audio. This ministry is offered through the Spanish School. It leverages audio equipment, so that Spanish-speaking students can receive communication and Gospel information.
Spanish Music

Participants apply spiritual and practical principles of music ministry in a church or group setting. Outreach is through organized music groups, other campus ministries, and local church involvement. Enrollment in Spanish music ministry must be approved by the Spanish Worship Dept.

Youth For The Nations (YFN) Spanish

CFNI conducts a yearly summer camp, Spanish YFN, where hundreds of young people from across the U.S., Latin America, the Caribbean, and Europe meet for a week, to have the most transforming experience with God. Games, lectures, activities, concerts and more, are only part of what young people experience during the week of SYFN. Their lives are radically transformed through a passionate search for God's Presence.
Hospitality & Special Events

Participants assist the hospitality coordinator in planning and preparing for special events (such as receptions, banquets, picnics, and parties) held on campus throughout the year. Students assist by greeting guests, providing transportation, and information during various seminars, Campus Days, and other special events held at CFNI. Students involved also assist special guests of CFNI by providing them with hospitality baskets, complimentary food items, literature, and more.
Technical Arts

Tuesday Night Team (TNE)

The Tuesday Night team gives students hands-on experience and teaches the practical elements of ministry services. Students assist in the execution of the weekly Tuesday Night Experience at CFNI.
Prayer & Intercession

Participants are taught the principles of prayer and practice them within organized prayer groups of the ministry of prayer and intercession. There are many meetings, each carrying a different focus, from the Muslim world to incoming needs. Participation in this ministry will help develop the student's understanding of his/her relationship with God, with each other, and with the lost; it will add depth to personal prayer life; it will prepare them for their cooperative ministry within the local Church, the citywide Church, and to the national/international Church.
Worship & Arts Ensemble

This student ministry includes all those students who participate in CFNI's worship teams and choir. Students will receive weekly training and impartation from our various faculty worship leaders and occasional guests. Enrollment in worship and arts ensemble must be approved by the Worship Department. Information is available at registration or by calling the Worship Department office.
Yearbook
THE-101
CFNI's Yearbook provides students with opportunities to use their talents and abilities in producing a publication that records academics, activities, student ministries, outreaches, and God's moving during the school year. Opportunities for ministry include photography, caption writing, page design, editing, activity coverage, and general office tasks. Enrollment in Yearbook must be approved by the Publishing Department.
The Remnant
THE-101
The Remnant is a leadership based team skilled in several areas of ministry such as worship, multi-media and drama. They specialize in script writing, songwriting, producing and performing creative issue-driven dramas, human videos and dances that connect with audiences of all ages. This ministry is designed to train students in worship, media and performing arts as well as develop their skills for hands on ministry. Classes rehearse up to two times a week with the opportunity to minister at various campus events and local churches throughout the semester.
